Project contribution
RELANZA’s academic contribution centres on two main pillars. First, it offers society a bilingual podcast as a space for exchange and reflection among experts in quality education, language teaching, and sustainability, encouraging interdisciplinary dialogue and open access to knowledge. Second, the project includes the short-term evaluation of its impact by analysing potential changes in users’ awareness and perceptions regarding the topics addressed, based on the materials produced (podcast, practical guide, and interactive content).
On a practical level, RELANZA aims to contribute directly to transforming educational culture by fostering greater awareness and commitment to sustainability, using language education as an integrative tool. To this end, it develops tools and strategies based on prior research across the following key areas:
Sustainability
Internationalisation of education
Social justice
Educational digitization
Applications of artificial intelligence
Multimodal literacy
The project also adopts a distinctly international approach, both in its team and in its outputs. All materials (podcast, practical guide, and interactive content) are available in two languages –Spanish and English– with the aim of broadening their reach and facilitating adoption in diverse educational contexts worldwide.
The RELANZA project runs over a seventeen-month period, from February 2025 to June 2026.
